Change the WordPress login URL
After installing, navigate to “Settings” and then click on the link “Permalinks.”
The above action will open the Permalink settings page. Here, scroll down and you will two new sections called “Authentication Permalinks” and “Authentication Redirection.”
Here you can set your new WordPress login URL. Just enter the new slugs in the Login, Registration, Lost Password and Logout URL fields. As you can see, I’ve changed the default login URL to
/my-login/ and other URLs to my preference.
Note: don’t forget to add
/ at the beginning of the slug.
After adding the “Authentication Permalinks,” scroll down and add the “Authentication Redirection” URLs. These are the URLs that you will be redirected when you log in or log out.
As you can see, I’ve kept the default as is.
Once you are done with the changes, click on the button “Save Changes” and you are good to go.
From this point forward, you can use the new URLs to log into your WordPress site.
